One day, Tara and Dave sat down to write a love song and said, “Wouldn’t it be hilarious if we wrote a call and response song between the two of us and then dropped some “OH’s” in the chorus?

Some of the words in the bridge were designed to honor the poetic legacy and creative genius of the late E.E. Cummings. Even though they are not the exact words from his poem, the imagery is still conveyed!

Later that day, after some scribbling, strumming, and humming, we emerged with this song! We enjoyed singing it so much, and the response to it was so fun, we decided to record it as our first Single!
